Chronicle Logger
Records a session in Discord, transcribes it on a local GPU, then writes an in-character diary entry and keeps a running lore tracker of NPCs, places and plot threads.
Discord bots, dice rollers, a chronicle site and the odd voice experiment, mostly for Vampire: The Masquerade nights.
A web app for running V20 chronicles: character sheets, Downtime or Experience for growth, a live dice roller with Willpower, Blood and Health, and NPC drafting for the Storyteller. It sets up the game's Discord too, with roles and channels, session recaps and Dramatis Personae posts.

A 3D dice roller that runs inside a Discord voice channel and rolls straight from a character sheet exported from Elysium Nights. Pick the traits and a difficulty, and everyone sees the roll land.
A 3D dice roller for Vampire 5th Edition that runs inside a Discord voice channel, with Hunger dice, messy criticals and bestial failures worked out for you.
Local text-to-speech for giving NPCs a voice. Saved character voices, short clips and whole voiced scenes, all generated on my own PC.
Whatever's being built next turns up here.
I’m Hale, and I have been telling stories in the dark for the better part of thirty years, as often from behind the Storyteller’s screen as from the far side of it. Vampire: The Masquerade is my abiding obsession: I have run and played every edition from Second through to Fifth. Along the way I’ve wandered into Dungeons & Dragons, Aberrant, Modiphius’s Fallout, Deadlands and a good many others besides. These days my table convenes on Discord, though I spent long years gathered around real ones. I’m based in Oxford, in the UK.
The tools on this site began with a modest ambition: a dice roller for Discord, so that V20 nights might run a little more smoothly, for me and for anyone else. Every problem solved revealed another worth solving, and the small conveniences multiplied until they cohered into Elysium Nights, which is, in effect, a virtual tabletop for Vampire chronicles.
Newcomers are always welcome. If you’re curious about the World of Darkness, thinking of running a chronicle of your own with Elysium Nights, or simply want to talk storytelling, write to me. I’m always glad to answer questions, and I seldom tire of the subject.
